What is Starbuck's Destiny in BSG?

Spoilers for seasons 1-3, you have been warned. With season 4 of Battlestar Galactica due to start in mere weeks, we though we'd take a little look at the character of Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace. Let's get some thoughtful conversation going via comments about this lady of mystery. We've got a few ideas, but we'd love to hear yours.
The main thoughts on Starbuck in Season 4 of BSG revolve around her being the undoing on humanity, that she'll "lead them to their end", but perhaps it means to Earth? The question "What is Starbuck's Destiny?" seems to be on many lips, but no-one knows for sure what it is.
We at LG kind of think Starbuck is a hylon (half human, half cylon), because we don't know anything about her father, but her mother was involved in the first cylon war. What if Starbuck was actually the first hylon and not Hera? It's a long shot, but it's all we've got since it's been stated she definitely isn't a cylon. Maybe she's an angel of God like Six seems to be? What do you think?

I think she's like some strange being, not a human or cylon. It will probably be some silly convoluted premise that will have fans of the series complaining.
I hope that isn't the case, but they look like they're doing some silly things in season 4. Gaius and his harem for one thing.

Can't wait for the new season to air!
I try not to think about it too much as I like to see it when things unfold.
I just hope Tom Zarek or that little kid Boomer saved isn't the last cylon. That will be a real let down if it is one of them.
As for Starbuck being a cylon, I'd prefer that to one of the others I think.

Starbuck's destiny is to come out of the closet, not as a cylon or a hylon, but as the cute lesbian fighter pilot she is. I mean Anders!! AS IF!!
Well that's my two pennies.
