Dani Reese is Carla Valenti...
In the first of our Dyke Doubles articles we're taking a peek at a lesbian favorite in the form of Sarah Shahi. As you're no doubt all aware, Sarah played the delectable latino love interest of Shane on The L Word. Her name in the show was Carmen de la Pica Morales and sadly she left at the end of Season 3. Sarah Shahi is back on screens in the NBC cop drama 'Life', in which she plays ultra cool detective Dani Reese. |
It wasn't difficult to make the leap from Dani Reese to cool female detective Carla Valenti in the Atari title Fahrenheit aka Indigo Prophecy. |
Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy US title) was a brilliant game released in 2005 on the Xbox, PS2 and PC platforms. This month (December 2007) it is re-released as an Xbox original on the XBL originals download service on the Xbox 360. |

If you like your single player RPGs,Fahrenheit is a fantastic title. The female detective in the game (Carla Valenti) is not the lead character, but you do get to play her and the game overall is a real blast (other than one misplaced scene we won't go into). |
NBC's cop series Life features Sarah Shahi in the role of Dani Reese. She is partnered with Detective Charlie Crewes (played by Damian Lewis) and the show follows not only their episodic missions, but also a series storyarc in which Crewes tries to determine who set him up for a murder some years earlier. |
