Fans of Firefly / Serenity might like to know it seems more than one of the crew is set to appear in Halo 3: ODST. Nathan Fillion will be voicing Sgt. Buck in Halo 3: ODST and we've all known this for awhile, but more Firefly crew are popping up. Adam Baldwin is now being credited with the voice of Dutch in Halo 3: ODST. Alan Tudyk is rumored to be voicing Mickey in the game and Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer voices Dare. Quite the sci-fi extravaganza.
If you're a game collector and like flashy limited editions, you're going to love Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Not only will it come in the standard edition, you'll also be able to purchase the "Hardened" and "Prestige" editions. The Prestige edition comes with working night vision goggles.
Video after the jump.

Bummer, looks like we won't be heading back into the glorious world of Rapture this year. Take Two has confirmed the news by stating they've "concluded that moving the release of BioShock 2 into fiscal year 2010 was the right decision for the product. We believe the result will be a more compelling consumer experience and a better performing product in the marketplace." Like it or not, we'll now have to wait a few months more.
This is great news, PopCap Games is looking to bring PC & Mac hit Plants vs. Zombies to other platforms. Though nothing has been officially stated, PopCap have been mentioning how well Peggle did on XBLA. Well then we can hope that Plants vs. Zombies does appear on XBLA and PSN; there may even be an iPhone iteration. Bring it on. You can check out our
Valve and EA are cooking up some evil swampy goodness with the "Swamp Fever" level in Left 4 Dead 2. The level will be shown at the EA Gaming Lounge at this years Comic-Con, so expect lots more details about this one popping up around mid to end of the week comic-con kicks off (that be July 23-26).
Oh say it ain't so, more cashing in? MJJ Productions, that's the skinny black to white dead guys company (too soon?) is working on an as yet unannounced video game starring Michael Jackson. The game is said to have been in production for months and will feature Jackson's likeness (and it's not survival horror) and voice. Rumor has it this title will be moonwalking onto store shelves this holiday season.
Images that were sent anonymously to various news sources claiming to be the new Lara Croft reboot have caused a bit of a fracas. The lawyers got involved and ordered sites carrying the pictures and indeed – on some sites – the story to remove them. Sounds like the Lara reboot will feature a younger Lara (as we knew) and she'll be more gritty. The story will allegedly be set on a remote island and will see Lara unlocking the islands creepy secrets. Now, if only Amanda Evert appeared as her college fling, wouldn't that be cool.
This is great news for fans of Team 17. The developer is said to be reigniting one of its most popular titles, Alien Breed. The title Alien Breed Evolution is now listed on the Team 17 website. It will be a top down version of the classic Aliens inspired shooter that will be available via digital download. Here's hoping this one makes it to the XBLA and PSN stores. Good memories of this one from the days of the Amiga.
I thought this was a joke, but nope, Konami are bringing us a "walking simulator" for the Nintendo Wii. "Walk it Out" is essentially a fitness title that sees you walking. Walking in the park, walking along the path, walking down the road, all in your living room. It will use the Wii Balance Board / Konami Dance Mat or just the Wiimote and Nunchuck. I have to say I'd be tempted if it came with a mini treadmill, now that would be pretty cool since walking on the spot is lame.
Want to know all about Grand Slam Tennis on the Wii, look no further! You'd think with it being tennis it would be chock full of lesbians, thus making it the perfect lesbian video game, but something with this much balls is bound to fail in that department. Check out our review.
If you're a fan of Carcassonne and own a Nintendo DS, you're in luck because Koch Media are releasing the game later this year. The DS seems the perfect platform for the board-game come XBLA title. The DS version will come loaded with the original game and expansion River. It will feature three worlds (Arab, Nordic and Asian) and be multi-cart multi-playable.
Wondering if EA Sports Active betters Wii Fit? We've got a full review of the title that sees you strap-on and legs up. Our EA Sports Active review highlights the good and the bad with this personal training title.
Rumor has it Namco Bandai’s third person shooter Dead to Rights: Retribution has slipped to next year. Various retailers and Namco Bandai’s own release schedule mirror the fact the game seems to now be slated for a Q1 2010 release. Dead to Rights was an okay game, but does anyone really care its sequel has slipped a bit?
Is it a leak if Microsoft has spoken about these features at E3, probably not, still that hasn’t stopped GameCinemaHD from posting a few images that show Avatar Awards, Avatar Marketplace, Games on Demand and Indie Games. You can see them over at
European PR for EA seem to have made an oopsie announcing Command & Conquer 4 (officially) via Twitter. EA has spoken about development of the game before, so it’s no big shocker, but an announcement from EA that puts an official slant on it wasn’t forthcoming until this oops. The Twitter post has since been removed. Oops.
