Jade Empire 2 might not be a reality (yet!), but at least Jade Empire is getting another run at things with an upcoming release on the Xbox Originals service. Jade Empire will be available from July 21 at a cost of 1200 MS Points.
Lesbian RPG fans should enjoy Jade Empire, not only for its pretty graphics and RPG stylings, but also for its lesbian content. Yes that's right, there can be a little lady loving in the empire of the jade. Female characters can romance Sky or Silk Fox (both women), though annoyingly the kiss was cut from the game with the camera panning away. Gods forbid two pixelated beauties should lock lips in front of impressionable minors in true love as opposed to male gaze leanings. Where's that 'rolling eyes' icon.
Dragon Quest DS, Ahh yes, someone in our house was addicted to Rocket Slime and it seems at least one of our readers would like a little more info on any upcoming Dragon Quest titles coming forth. Well we've got more Dragon Quest info than you can shake a slime at after the jumperoo.
Puzzle Quest Galactrix is a new title in the Puzzle Quest franchise (come on you know it's a franchise already) and it was briefed at E3. One of our regular readers wanted to know a little more about it, so we've got the full press sheet after the jumperoo.
E3 news was a bit lackluster this year, actually, E3 was a bit lackluster. That aside we’ve got a roundup of everything else we think was fairly important that's come out of E3 2008 - thus far - after the jumperoo. This includes the other publisher info that didn’t make it into the big three and any amendments.
Here we are with the lowdown on what went on at the Sony presser: Sony waffled – as they tend to do – about how great the PlayStation was / is and will be. That’s how they kicked things off at their conference, as cocky and arrogant as ever. It was all about old games (Tekken, Crash, GTA etc) and sales figures, then they cut to the now and revealed a few goodies. All for you, short and sweet, after the jumperoo.
Here we are with the lowdown on what went on at the Nintendo presser: GTA on the DS, Animal Crossing: City Folk for Wii and more came out of the Nintendo press conference. That new slimmer - GBA slot missing - Nintendo DS IGN said was going to appear, didn't. Everything else succinct as can be after the jumperoo.
Want your WiiMote to be more responsive, like say 1 to 1 (1:1) responsive? Well, apparently Nintendo are about to make your dreams come true with the MotionPlus accessory for the Wii. Slot this sucker into the bottom of your WiiMote and it will better track exactly where your arms are and what they're doing, thus making for better on screen interaction. The Nintendo Conference hasn't hit E3 yet and we're assuming this will get a fair bit of time when it does and we'll update then. In the mean time, image after the jumperoo.
As you're no doubt aware E3 has kicked off and we've got the upshot of what came out of the Microsoft presser: Firstly those cool XB Avatars are a go and they look great (designed by the folks at Rare). The new dashboard interface uses the new avatars and is released in the Fall (US). You'll be able to use the avatars in certain games, including the new Scene-It title and Uno Rush. We've got a full MS presser wrap-up after the jump.
E3 News Updates will be hitting Lesbian Gamers as and when E3 begins. We'll be covering E3, though not in waffly depth like some sites (that means we won't take up an entire long post to give you information that could have been imparted in a sentence). These will be our 'E3 News Bites', so when you see the icon used in this post, you'll know it's an E3 Update. They'll also all be stored in a new E3 section on the site and linked to with a main banner. See we're always thinking of you.. honest.
Ctrl-Alt-Del creator Tim Buckley has kindly taken part in a Q&A for us here at Lesbian Gamers and sister site Lesbian Geek. Buckley is the talented mastermind behind popular webcomic 'Ctrl-Alt-Del' and 'The Sillies'.
If you'd like a little insight into what Buckley thinks about the recent furore over the miscarriage storyline he ran, or how he came to include a female gamer as a regular in his webcomic (yay him!!), this interview is for you. He also tells us who he'd turn gay for (since this is the question we usually end Q&A's on, Rove style).

Captain Rainbow has to be one of the gayest games ever. You can check out the trailer below. Captain Rainbow is a new Wii game from skip Ltd. - the folks behind that rather clever Chibi Robo.
In Captain Rainbow you play the character of 'Nick'. He's a superhero called Captain Rainbow when he's not being a normal guy and his weapon of choice is a yoyo - we expected it to be a pea whistle, but alas it was not. In this the Japanese trailer narration is done by the cross-dressing 'Birdo', known as one of the few transsexual characters.
