Bayonetta Climax Edition comes in premium slipcase packaging and features the Bayonetta game, as well as a 36 page hardcover art book and CD soundtrack featuring music from the video game. When pre-ordering the special Bayonetta: Climax Edition at selected retailers however, you will also receive a very limited custom built replica of the Scarborough Fair, Bayonetta’s beloved pistol which she has strapped to her hands and feet. Sweet... but they are limited. Bayonetta is released Jan 2010 on X360 and PS3.

David Cage, the CEO of Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream has been speaking to NowGamer in an indepth interview when he states "As an industry we make games for teenagers and kids," This led to a few sites picking up on this quote and seemingly - perhaps - taking it out of context. On reading the entire interview I got the feeling Cage was instead speaking about sales models presently followed and how sometimes you need to think outside of that and come up with something different.

I like to collect gaming guff. I like my office shelves adorned with gaming / geek crap and I like getting said crap for free, or a little bit more than the regular price of a game. So what's with all this virtual bonus stuff more and more games are doing? Pre-order at this store and you'll get this virtual gun in-game, pre-order here and you'll get this costume or piece of virtual equipment no one else has. Now color me jaded, but shouldn't this stuff just be available in the game regardless? So you miss out if you don't live in a certain country and pre-order from a certain store? ... If you're like me you are eagerly awaiting some zombie smiting in Left 4 Dead 2. Prepare for your anticipation to crank up a notch after viewing the trailer afte the jump, which was 'leaked' today. Yeah 'leaked' on purpose maybe! Whatever the case this looks amazing, though it has to be said, does anyone else think the character designers were maybe watching a little too much late night True Blood when they came up with Tara Thornton and Jason Stackhouse...
